Peyton's Puzzles

Puzzle games for curious kids.

Small, clever puzzles you play right in the browser — nothing to download and nothing to install. First up is Jack on Track: Jack walks on his own, and you build the path that gets him home.

Children can play as guests with no email address and no personal details — just a nickname if they want one on the scoreboard.

The games

Four to play, and more on the way.

Play now Jack on Track: a rope runs over two pulleys from a weight tray to a freight platform.

Jack on Track

Jack walks on his own and never stops. Lay the floors, ramps, springs, balloons and machines that turn his walk into a way home — then press GO and watch whether you were right. 140 levels across seven worlds, with a board designer so you can build your own.

Play now Picture Guess: a picture hidden under twenty-five puzzle pieces, a few of them turned over, with letter boxes beside it.

Picture Guess

One picture, hidden under twenty-five puzzle pieces. Turn a piece over, guess a letter, or say straight out what you think it is — every clue makes it easier and every clue costs you points. The whole game is the question “do I know enough yet?”, which is why a six-year-old and a grown-up can play it together and both find it hard.

Play now Zoom Out: an extreme close-up of woven straw beside the whole picture, a straw hat.

Zoom Out

It starts so close up that all you can see is texture — weave, fur, metal, crumbs. Say what it is and you keep the lot. Can’t tell? Zoom out one step, and one step further, and watch the prize come down with every step. Nearly eighty pictures, a minute a go.

New Treasure Dig: a cutaway of a farm with a boy digging a shaft down through soil, clay and rock, a ladder behind him and a gold coin glinting in the dirt.

Treasure Dig

There’s treasure under the farm. Start with a shovel, a bag and a short ladder, dig down through soil, clay and rock, and haul what you find to market. Spend the money on a bigger bag, a longer ladder, a pickaxe for the hard stuff and a better metal detector — and keep an eye on lunch, because a hungry digger is a slow one. Five screens wide, five hundred feet deep.

No details needed

Guests get a real saved profile without an email address, a surname, a birthday or a location. A nickname is optional and is the only thing anyone else can see.

No ads, ever

Nothing on this site is sold to advertisers, and there is no advertising in the games. No pop-ups asking a child to buy anything mid-puzzle.

Progress that follows them

Sign in and scores live on the account, not the machine — the same profile on the tablet and on the computer. We never see a password: the sign-in provider handles that, and all we learn is that it is you.

For grown-ups. Progress for a guest is a random identifier and whatever nickname the child typed — nothing that identifies them, and no email address is ever asked for. If you would rather their scores survive a cleared browser or a new device, signing in with an account they already have elsewhere is the only step, and we never see or keep a password. Scores and the boards players build are the only things stored. How we handle data.
