The short version
The games are free. Play them, build boards, enjoy yourself. Do not pick a nickname or build a board you would not want a seven-year-old to read, do not try to break the site, and please understand this is a small operation — we will do our best, but we cannot promise the site will never be down or that a score can never be lost.
Who can use it
Anyone. The games are made for children, and children do not need an account, an email address or a grown-up's permission to press Play. If you are a parent or guardian and you would rather your child did not have an account here at all, they can still play — see Privacy.
What it costs
Nothing. There is no charge, no subscription, no in-game purchase, and no advertising. If that ever changes, existing free play stays free and this page will say so before anything else does.
Nicknames, boards and ratings
Anything you type that another person might see — a nickname, a board name, a board you publish — needs to be fit for a children's game. That means no abuse, no harassment, no sexual content, no slurs, nothing hateful, no impersonating somebody else, and nothing that gives away a real person's private details, including your own. We may remove anything that breaks that, and remove an account that keeps doing it.
Boards you build stay yours. By publishing one to the Fan Levels section you are letting other players play it, rate it, and letting us show it on the site. You can ask us to take one down.
Playing fair
Please do not try to forge scores, hammer the site with automated traffic, pull it apart looking for a way into other players' data, or use it to distribute anything harmful. If you do find a genuine security problem, we would much rather you told us — [email protected] — and we will thank you properly.
The games themselves
Jack on Track, its characters, its artwork and its music are ours. Please do not republish the games or the art as your own. Playing them, streaming them, showing them to your class or filming your child solving a level is all fine and welcome.
What we do not promise
The site is provided as it is. We cannot promise it will always be available, that every level is solvable in the way you expect, or that a saved score or board can never be lost to a bug or a failure on our side. We keep backups and we test heavily — every level is verified solvable automatically before it ships — but this is a puzzle game, not a bank, and it should not be relied on for anything that matters.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using the site. In plain terms: if a score goes missing we will be sorry and we will try to fix it, but that is the extent of it.
Ending it
You can stop at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and everything attached to it (see Privacy). We may suspend an account that is being used to break the rules above.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes too. Continuing to play after that means the new version applies.
